MEDIA: Little Sister, by singer-songwriter Jewel

Despite the acoustic tune being released approximately 25 years ago, I think “Little Sister” is artfully realistic.  Even the way she frantically picks out the melody and sings those endearing words denotes sensitivity towards addiction.  Plus, it has always been one of my many absolute favorites on this classic record.  In fact, Jewel’s debut album arguably served as the mid-’90s version of Adele’s monstrously successful 21.  And I don’t say this because Pieces of You also went Diamond, but because it transcended musical genres.  Everybody loved this record…everybody.rs-9067-20130115-jewel-x624-1358272614
